MARIANNE MOORE

A reformed chemist with a passion for colour, materials and people, experimenting with all.  Based either on childhood memories or more recent encounters, the resulting works are a comment on our working life. They also create illusions of three dimensions.  Suns is an ode to brightness, In the Bias an homage to the textile industry, while Crowd Control  is a response to the various devices used by Authorities to maintain order.

CURRENT WORK

The artist is currently investigating all aspects of sensory design at Central Saint Martin’s College. This recently led her to Japan where she met many other designers.  She is presently lecturing on food design.

With works in various private collections in Europe, the USA and Japan, Moore is interested in public art and available for commissions.
