Mary studied Fine Art at the Byam Shaw and Chelsea School of Art, graduating from Chelsea in 1986.
Central to Mary’s work is her use of colour and texture, which are used to convey a range of experiences, dealing with ideas of music, space, light, natural phenomena, and those of a more subjective nature.

BACKGROUND
At various times during her career her work has ranged from semi figurative to full abstraction. The current work is at its purest.
Mary operates from her East London studio, and has exhibited regularly since 1985, mostly in London.
